Dear MIHS Schoolmates,

My school days at MIHS, from 1997 to 2003, are beautifully nostalgic and paint a vivid picture of the wonderful memories I cherish. It's evident that my time at MIHS was filled with heartwarming experiences, close friendships, and a strong sense of community. My memories reflect the essence of a vibrant and enriching school life.

Going through these memories brought me back to an era filled with laughter, camaraderie, and invaluable life lessons. Our time at MIHS was undoubtedly short, but it was brimming with remarkable experiences that have left an indelible mark on our lives.

From the fancy dress competitions and speeches to the quirky quizzes during prayers, the camaraderie of the Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow groups, and our cherished Christmas celebrations, we truly had the best of times. Bridgit sister's Monday morning prizes were a source of pride and motivation for all of us.

The act of collecting money every morning in class and channeling it towards helping the less fortunate reinforced the importance of kindness and empathy. Our little garden at the back of the school, where we grew tomatoes and potatoes, was a testament to our commitment to nurturing life in all its forms.

And who could forget the joy of rickshaw rides to school, with the ice cream treat that followed? Those simple pleasures remain etched in our hearts, a reminder of the warmth and generosity that defined our community.

The chapel, whether on low days or high, was our sanctuary of peace and reflection. It was there that we found solace and inspiration, and it continues to hold a special place in our hearts.

Let's not forget the tamarind tree, our unique claim to fame. While others may remember the mango tree, our beloved tamarind tree was a silent witness.

As we prepare to reunite on October 21st, 2023, my heart brims with excitement and anticipation. Reconnecting with dear friends, reliving the cherished memories, and feeling the school environment once more promises to be a day of immense happiness and nostalgia.
